My Work

AMC Theatres

During the Summer of 2017, I was fortunate enough to have landed an AMAZING internship with AMC Theatres at their corporate office in Leawood, KS. It was 3 months of learning, growth, good times, and exciting challenges. I worked with the Guest Engagement team in Marketing and served as the Push Marketing Intern. Getting to provide marketing support to the summer's latest and hottest films was a blast and working to test subject lines, create e-mail marketing campaigns, proofread marketing emails, and create and monitor SMS and mobile push notification marketing blasts was an exciting process. I learned just how much truly goes into every marketing initiative and how quickly things can change. Given that marketing is all about trends and what the next best move is going to be, it was an engaging position that pushed me to think both critically and creatively and communicate with film studios, the AMC team, and my other Marketing interns to make sure every campaign was #AMCAmazing.

RedBubble Designs

My junior year of college re-ignited a creative spark in me and I felt tons of inspiration within me that needed to be channeled and put to work. I had just come out of serving as the Public Relations Chairman for my sorority where I was constantly creating social media posts, digital graphics, snapchat filters, and video content. I was itching for something else so I started designing my own graphics based on things I liked and enjoyed and thought other people might like and enjoy too. Creating these designs has taught me a lot in the past year or so. I've learned the power of promotion via social media and producing the products people want and following trends. I've been able to teach myself pricing basics and how to play the numbers to insure I reward myself with a fair margin. The lessons that have come out of  my own innovations have been both inspiring and invigorating. Since putting these designs out for the world, I have sold 1,300 units and am continuing to grow and design even more.

Extracurricular Graphic Design at Northwest

The above image is of fundraising merchandise I design for my sorority. I created two designs that were but on both buttons and stickers using Adobe Illustrator. As a chapter, we sold a total of 500 buttons and stickers over the course of the 2017-2018 school year.

Above are myself and a sorority sister wearing t-shirts I designed for my sorority's major philanthropic fundraising event. This design started with a sketch and I worked with a professional designer at a t shirt distribution company to produce 3,000 of these shirts that were sold through a pre-order link all summer and distributed on campus when school resumed in the fall. Myself and my partner I worked with on this project had the fantastic opportunity to see this project through from the design conception stage to the days spend carrying dozens of heavy boxes around campus to raise money for Special Olympics. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and we were able to raise over $4,000 for Special Olympics.
